Reinventing Yourself at Any Age

Have you thought about leaving your secure job to follow your passions?  Do you value a new challenge over the career dictated by others? Perhaps there are opportunities you want to take advantage of but worry about the risk?  You are not alone!

AWIB is featuring a group of ordinary women (like you and me) who have refused to be stuck in a place or career. They are a lawyer who became a handbag designer; an apparel industry executive who created a career around the needs of her child; a laid off manager who turned a family recipe into a must-have snack; a graphic designer who now sells premium cashews; and a lawyer turned media professional.   Inventing a new stage of your life is hard but possible and the results can be rewarding.  Join us for an interactive discussion with people who dared to take the risks to change their lives.

A networking reception follows the discussion. We thank Rajbhog Foods – manufacturer of sweets, snacks, frozen appetizers, frozen entrees, beverages  and breads - for catering our event.

  • Important personal branding lessons from well-known business leaders
  • How to stand out from the competition
  • How to identify your Cake and Icing (rational value and emotional value) for a winning brand
  • A framework for your brand strategy
Karen Kang is a recognized brand strategist and the founder and CEO of BrandingPays LLC.  She is also the author of Branding Pays: The Five-Step System to Reinvent Your Personal Brand. Karen will be available to autograph her book.
